I’m Wendy, a wedding and portrait photographer based in northeast Nebraska, and photography has been part of my life for more than a decade. What started in 2010 with a handful of senior portraits quickly turned into something I couldn’t imagine living without. I was instantly hooked—not just on taking photos, but on telling stories and preserving moments that matter.

Over the years, that passion grew into a studio of my own, which I proudly opened in 2015. It’s a space filled with creativity, connection, and countless memories, and it’s where I get to do what I love every day—capture real people, real emotions, and real life.

I photograph all seasons of life, from weddings and engagements to seniors, families, newborns, and everything in between. Whether it’s a quiet, tender moment or a joyful celebration, I’m drawn to the in-between details—the laughter, the tears, the fleeting expressions that tell your story best.

When I’m not behind the camera, life slows down a bit. I’m an introvert at heart who values quiet moments, creativity, and time near the water. I’m endlessly inspired by art in all forms—beads, dried flowers, shells, travel, and the beauty found in unexpected places. I’m also a certified scuba diver, and nothing fills my soul quite like being in, on, or under the water, especially when I’m lucky enough to be in the islands.

Before photography became my full-time focus, I spent 31 years teaching art, photography, and yearbook. In 2023, I made the decision to retire from teaching, simplify my life, and pour my heart fully into my photography business—creating with intention, less stress, and more joy.
